Public Safety DAS

The Public Safety DAS, a.k.a. Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement System (ERCES) is required in the new building codes. These systems facilitate the communications of our first responders. The municipalities that adopt these new codes now require that stakeholders perform a BDA scan to check for dead zones in a building. The DAS (Distributed Antennas System) kills these dead zones by broadcasting an authorized frequency utilizing a BDA (bi-directional amplifier).
